First things first.  My trainer busted my butt today.  He basically made me max out at a three exercises.  Which doesn’t sound like a lot, but I damn near passed out at the end.  We were finishing up abs and then began walking towards the door and as he was giving me instructions for the week I was concentrating very hard on not passing out.  Or vomiting.  Its like that feeling when you’ve had WAY too much to drink and you think you are gonna get sick but you try so hard to not get sick.  Its an intense concentration.  I kept telling myself “get out the door and get to your car…you can throw up there if you have to, just not inside because that would be embarrassing”.   I guess I was pretty shocked about it because I workout all the time and never get this feeling.  So, maybe I’m getting my money out of them.  I’m just a little nervous about meeting with him next week.  Eeek.

On the drive home, I put on Kiss FM and was welcomed to “Wanna Be a Baller”.  I haven’t heard that song in ages and it makes me feel like I’m in high school again, cruising around in my red Pathfinder (sigh, I miss it).  I started thinking about my other favorite rap songs from that time frame.  Here are my Top 3…

Wanna Be a Baller – Lil Troy

Back That Azz Up – Juvenile

Still Not a Player – Big Pun (RIP)

Honorable Mention: Feels So Good – Mase, Bitch in my Book – Lil Troy (its just entertaining), Mo Money Mo Problems – B.I.G. & co., Can I Get a What What (you know the real lyrics) – Jay-Z, Make ‘Em Say Ugh – Master P, This Is How We Do It – Montell Jordan and Gettin’ Jiggy With It – Will Smith.  And lets not forget the best rap/hip hop song of all time:

REGULATORS…………. Mount up!
